18 Ormond Quay Upper is open every Thursday in May, June and July 2024. Take a self-guided tour of the upper floors of our restored 1840s merchant shop-house overlooking the River Liffey, and learn about the history of the building and its occupants in the associated shop exhibition. Staff will be on hand to explain all aspects of this Europa Nostra Award-winning conservation project that has demonstrated creative adaptation and restoration of residential living in an historic urban buiding.

11am - 7pm

€5 per person – children 5 and under free | No booking required | Self-guided

Additional donations welcome | All funds raised will be used to support the work of Dublin Civic Trust

Typical visit takes 30 minutes

Group tours for 5-20 people can be arranged on Thursdays by appointment at €5 per person. Please contact our office to arrange a time:

Note: Wheelchair access is only possible to the ground floor. Access to the upper floors is by multiple flights of stairs. Visitors are welcome to rest on chairs provided in upper floor rooms.
